Recommendation from Kevin Chan

Daniel is a very down to earth person who’s very willing to help you out. He took the initiative to run and manage Free Code Camp in the Markham region and has organized a wonderful community to help teach others how to code. I would highly recommend Daniel and can see him fit in any environment.

Annoying “show more” Comments

Annoying “show more” Comments Button / link?

I know the feeling!

Annoying Comments, hidden by “show more”?

Annoying pages of pages Comments which could only be accessed by “show more” ?

How to bypass it with JavaScript?

would love to … use javascript show all comments on a linkedin article

Try this, in the Console:

setInterval(function(){
$('.comments-more-button').trigger('click');
}, 300);

My LinkedIN Connections Projection for the Next 400 Day Thru 2017-2018

By. Daniel Lim, Marketing Strategy Consultant & Digital Technology Architect

It’s the weekend and it’s actually relaxing and encouraging to explore the data and analytics, specifically regarding my LinkedIN Connections stats and Projection for 2017 – 2018.

While numbers are not everything, and I don’t want to purely focus on the details, others have made a great deal about social media engagement. And it’s about getting a big following of the right people. Remember: Quality vs Quantity.
The following are estimates by way of a simplified Projection for the next 400 Days, let’s look back and see how true these numbers are in, say … 400 days or so:

My 2017-2018 LinkedIN Connections Projections

In 400 days, I should have at least 13,295 1st degree connections on Linkedin, … but God knows if we will reach that before or after Tuesday, Sept., 11th, 2018!

Note: Today is Aug. 13th, 2017 and I am already at 5,125 Connections!

FAQ:

Why 400? … Because it’s the number of days between Day 1 (Aug 7th, 2017) to Day 400 (Sept. 11th, 2018)

Why 105? … Because it’s the number of NEW Connections I’ve added between Day 1 (Aug 7th, 2017) to Day 5 (Aug 12th, 2017)

How to Delete Recommendations

Editing or Deleting a Recommendation You’ve Written

Once a recommendation has been sent, it cannot be edited. However, the sender can delete the recommendation and create a new recommendation to send to the same person.

Important: Only one recommendation can be sent to each connection. If the recipient hides a recommendation, the sender cannot send a new one. The sender must first delete their original recommendation before sending a new one. Learn more about how to hide a recommendation you’ve recieved.

To delete a recommendation you’ve sent:

  1. Click the  Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
  2. Click View profile.
  3. Scroll to the Recommendations section and click the  Edit icon in the top right corner.
  4. Click the Given tab at the top of the pop-up window.
  5. Scroll to the recommendation you want to remove and click Delete.
  6. In the pop-up window, click OK when asked Are you sure you want to delete this recommendation?
  7. If applicable, create a new recommendation.

Notes:

  • The recipient won’t be notified that you removed your recommendation. It’s just removed from their profile. If you create a new recommendation, the recipient will be notified.
  • If you’ve hidden your recommendations, and you don’t see the Recommendations section on your profile, you can access them by clicking the  Edit icon in the Recommendations section and selecting Show recommendations you’ve hidden.
